Den - ROCK BIO
"Aaaaggaaaaahdoodoodooo..." - push pineapple, shake the tree.
Founding member of Black Lace, Den rose to prominance back in the early 80s.
After representing the UK in the 79 Eurovision Song Contest (coming 7th) he went on to have success with a number party anthem style hits,
the most famous being Superman, Agadoo and Do The Conga.
After making his millions, he faked his own death and retired to Blackpool.
Without Den the band would be left in the dark. Actually that's how we like to keep them most of the time.
Den is notoriously 'careful' with his cash but he has been known to once buy a half a lager at a particularly hot gig.
Well, we say 'buy', someone got it for him. And then he gave it away....to Scotty !
To date he has never killed anyone in the line of duty....
